Simon focuses his practice in the areas of debtor's counsel and consumer law. Mr. Haysom earned his B.S. degree at the University of Natel in South Africa and his L.L.B. and master’s degrees at NYU School of Law. He has previous lecturing experience with National Business Institute and has given lunch time seminars with Mid-Hudson Bankruptcy Bar Association. Mr. Haysom is a member of the Mid-Hudson Bankruptcy Bar Association (president), Goshen Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Edward is the most recent addition to Simon Haysom LLC. He joined the firm as a Law Clerk in September 2010, and subsequently became an associate after being admitted to practice in NewJersey in February 2011, and New York in May 2011.

Presently, Edward is a member of the New York State and New York City Bar Associations.

Edward received his JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2010 with concentrations in both commercial and corporate law, and his BA from CUNY Hunter College, where he graduated from its Special Honors Program Magna Cum Laude in 2006.

During law school, Edward devoted considerable time to public service, volunteering for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), where he assisted low income taxpayers in East Brooklyn, NY with their tax returns. He also interned at Lawyers for Children in Manhattan, where he represented the interests of children in custody disputes and in the foster care system, as well as Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, where he provided free legal services to victims of domestic violence.

When not practicing law, Edward spends his time raising his daughter Charlotte with his wife Maria, composing music, and training in long distance running, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muy Tai Kick Boxing.

Paul Marks

Paul is a resident of Orange County. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1974, from the University of North Carolina in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and from the Southwestern School of Law in 1981 with a Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Marks was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1982. He was an associate attorney from 1982 to 1984 at Kopald & Kopald, prior to opening his own law firm in 1984. He was admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York in 1983 and before the United States Supreme Court in 1990. Mr. Marks is a member of the Orange County and the New York State Bar Associations, and the American Collectors Association Legal Division. He is an authorized, court trained legal mediator since 2001, and is currently on the panel of attorneys for both referee appointments and Guardian Ad Litem cases for Orange, Dutchess and Rockland Counties.  He has served as Of Counsel to Simon Haysom LLC since 1997.

 

Marie Condoluci

Marie is an experienced litigator in both the State and Federal courts of New York. She was admitted to practice in New York in 1995 and is also admitted in the State of Florida (1998). She has litigated in both private practice and for the County of Orange as a former Assistant County Attorney. Marie graduated from Pace Univeristy School of Law cum laude in 1994. She was law clerk to Judges Vincent L. Broderick and Shira A. Scheindlin in the Southern District of New York (Federal District Court). She received her BA degree from SUNY Binghamton and also attended the United States Air Force Academy for a portion of her undergraduate studies.  She has served as Of Counsel to Simon Haysom LLC since 2010.
